I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change performed at Campbells Resort to a packed house in July and August of 2009 and then we took it on the road in 2010!
In 1995, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change premiered at New Jersey's American Stage Company, where, in the middle of one early performance, a woman in the audience couldn't help but blurt out "This is my life!" From that moment on, the creators knew they were on to something. The following season, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change moved to New Haven's Long Wharf Theatre and then on August 1 st, 1996, opened off-Broadway at the Westside theater where it was hailed as "Entirely winning! A show for real people about real people."
Act I takes a joyfully satiric look at being single in today's world and Act II turns its attention to married life. Featuring razor-sharp sketches, a wonderful score, and heart to spare, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change celebrates the never-ending battle of the heterosexes.
